The Innocent

"The Innocent" is an animated adaptation of 'Los inocentes' by Pedro Juan Soto.

 

The original story is from Soto's anthology "Spiks" which tells the marginalized stories of Puerto Rican immigrants to the New York during the Operation Bootstrap era. 

 

My goal in adapting this story was to respect the original themes while expanding upon them to an international audience.
